Vintage 80's MIJ blacked-out metal machine. Fully customized with modern appointments, and perfectly stripped down electronics to a single EMG 81 bridge pickup. Ultra fast neck...this one is absolutely the best Charvel neck I have ever played, hands down!

Factory Kahler Pro 2300 only came on 1st year (1986) Charvel "Model" Series axes. Tuners and knobs have been upgraded to brand new Gotoh Japans, black. Custom pickup ring and brushed black aluminum rear neckplate and control covers by renowned Charvel/Jackson parts specialist fretsonthenet.com!

The factory pickups were considered decent at the time, but the switching system was clunky and inefficient to say the least. Now the switches and midboost are all deleted with low profile black oxide hardware in their places. Volume knob moved down a spot so now you don't accidentally hit it with your picking hand all the time, as was common previously!

As for tight metal rhythm slayering, the EMG does the trick in this axe. Middle & Neck positions just have gloss black dummy covers installed, dropped level to the body to stay far outta the way of lightning fast pick attack.

Currently tuned down to B standard (I can easily setup for your preferred string gauge and tuning prior to shipment), the 25.5" scale handles low tunings rather well! Neck is excellent overall with polished frets, headstock tip intact, while body has some typical wear and tear with a couple of paint knockouts on the horns, but mostly excellent shape. No worries for real heavy metallerz!
